Bogota, D.C., October 27, 2014. As part of the commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the Special Administrative Unit Central Board of Accountants, different academic events are held in order to contribute to the strengthening of the accounting profession in our country.
On this occasion, on October 29th at the Auditorium Benjamín Herrera of the Free University of Colombia, the Forum entitled : "Training, accreditation and Government of the profession of public accounting in Colombia", which is aimed at deans, teachers, students of Public Accounting of different universities of the country and professionals and legal entities providing this service will be held.
The dynamics of the Forum will address three panels of discussion around vocational training and empowerment, the social and fiscal risk of the Public Accountant and the government of the profession related to various functionalities of the exercise, including the adoption of International Standards of Information, Accounting and Financial Information Assurance.
The installation of this important working day, will be carried out by Julio César Acuña, Director General of the Central Board of Accountants and, will have special guests experts in the matter such as the Accountant General of the Nation, Pedro Luis Bohórquez Ramírez; the President of the Colombian Federation of Public Accountant Colleges, Rodrigo Vallejo; Carlos augusto Molano, member of the Disciplinary Court, among other outstanding professionals.
With these spaces of discussion and training the Central Board of Accountants, as the governing body of the profession of Public Accounting responsible for the Registration, Inspection and Surveillance of Public Accountants and Legal Persons providing these services will continue to work hard to ensure the exercise of the Accounting Profession and professional ethics.
