The JCC, in fulfillment of its mission and ensuring the exercise of the profession of the Public Accounting, has reported to the Attorney General's Office 187 cases of alleged acts of personal falsehood (impersonation), material falsehood in public document and private document, in addition to the illegal exercise of the profession of public accounting by unscrupulous persons who present themselves as public accountants without having such status.

According to the press conference held on April 25 in the city of Bogotá, the Specialized Director against Corruption of the Attorney General's Office, Dr. José Alberto Salas Sánchez, stated that 28 people of the reported and investigated had been raided in office; it also indicated that knowledge prosecutors issued 43 orders to the judicial police to obtain evidence to advance criminal proceedings for other reported "fictitious" accountant cases.
