The Special Administrative Units Central Board of Accountants and General Accounting of the Nation sign Joint Circular No. 1, which reports on aspects to be taken into account by state entities and agencies; private entities in the exercise of public functions for the recruitment of accounting science professionals as accountants and organizations that provide services specific to accounting science.

These Entities have worked together to verify the information to ensure that Public Accountants, Auditors, Tax Reviewers, as natural or legal persons, who certify, dictate and report accounting and financial information of entities and agencies of the State in all their orders and levels or of private entities in the exercise of public functions, are registered with the JCC in order to prevent the illegal exercise of the profession of public accounting in the public sector, as provided for in Article 71 of Law 43 of 1990, the JCC and the CGN, through Joint Circular No. 000-0001 of 26 July 2018, instruct the legal representatives of public entities, on the aspects to be observed and to take into account when hiring or linking professionals in Public Accounting or entities that provide services specific to accounting science or that involve technical activities - Accounting.
