On march 25 of the institutional program "Training Wednesday" led by the Citizen Care group of the Ministry of Trade Industry and Tourism, the Director of the UAE Central Board of Accountants, Julio César Acuña González participated in the conversation: "Professional Ethics and Social Responsibility of Public Accountants". Day that was attended by citizens, entrepreneurs and accountants in which social responsibility and the ethical role that the accounting professional must play in the exercise of the profession, in the legal framework of the new regulations of financial information and information assurance under international standards to the wording of the schedule in the convergence plan provided for in Law 1314 of 2009 and Decree 0302 of February 2015.
The Director of the UAE Central Board of Accountants presented to the public the mission and legal obligations assigned to this public establishment that are to keep track of natural and legal persons engaged in activities specific to the public accounting, as well as the missionary function of carrying out the inspection and monitoring of the profession and operating as a disciplinary authority sanctioning those who contravene current law.
